Grant Avenue, South Post, looking east toward The Pentagon. Grant Avenue dead-ended at the pedestrian tunnel which went under Washington Boulevard to near the Mall Entrance of The Pentagon. The steps down to the tunnel (photos will be posted soon) are still intact today, making them the only remnant of South Post that can be seen today. The west face of The Pentagon is visible in the center-right of the photo, the exact area hit on 9/11/01. The South Post pool was on the left, just before the tunnel.
