Two photos of Elna from her book: On the left she is shown at the time of her discharge, and her uniform sports the Military District of Washington (MDW) patch which is still currently used. In the upper right the two officers stand in front of one of the wood structures built in the early 40's which lasted only 25 years. A tight photo cropping keeps us from determining the building #, but it is not 505 as that was used later for the new WAC barracks, and we do not see any building numbers on our map in the 300 series.
