The helicoptor photographer was right over Washington Boulevard when he took this late 60's view of South Post, looking west, with Arlington Cemetery in the background. The rear of the 'Recreation Center' is shown, with the movie theatre to the rightand Green Room to the left in the complex. Just above the Rec Center is Higgins Circle, and above the circle is Louisiana Hall. To the below right of the Circle is the South Post PX and the PX parking lot is in the center right of the photo. "Avenue of the Trees" (now known as McClellan Drive) shoots off the Circle into the upper right, and will intersect with Arlington Ridge Road near McClellan Gate.
