ABOVE: This postcard is undated, but this aerial view appears to be from the 50's. This view, looking west, shows the eastern portion of South Post Fort Myer, and the post pool, surrounded by pine trees, is clearly visible. In the very upper left you will see vacant land where some old wood barracks are shown in the photo to the right.

ABOVE RIGHT: This aerial shot, looking southwest, predates the above shot, as the wood barracks still stand (Buildings/barracks 300 series). To the left of those barracks is the start of Columbia Pike, near the Navy Annex. Behind the barracks is Arlington Ridge Road, then Arlington Cemetery. To the center-right you can see the Pentagon Mall Entrance, and just above that, across Washington Boulevard, the Fort Myer South Post pool is visible.
